As already mentioned in several other reviews: This book is full of errors in code examples. I bought this book to learn laravel and had to debug most code in Chapter 3 and 4.

I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but alas I have to say that this book will only confuse you. You have to either do tons of googling to see how to correct the code that does not work and throws errors or look well forward in the book to find what he forgot to include in the current section (which throws more errors).
